Blacksmith Knife workshop
**** Class bookings for Christmas gift certificates will open starting February 8 2025**** This one day workshop will focus on forging a traditional Blacksmith Knife. This is a very utilitarian tool, rugged in it’s design but is functional and comfortable in the hand. This project covers the basics of forging the blade and bevels and drawing out the contoured handle. Once forged, the student will be able to clean up the bevels with a grinder then normalize and heat treat the blade. Once heat treated and tempered the blade will be sharpened. Although no previous experience is required, having some basic blacksmithing knowledge will aid in the completion of this knife. This class is designed for 1-2 students.
