Tong building workshop
**** Class bookings for Christmas gift certificates will open starting February**** Tong workshops focus on forging one of two styles of tongs which are versatile in their applications. The first is a set of v bit bolt jaw style tongs which are designed to hold square and round stock up to 3/4”. The second style is a forge welded flat bit tong used to hold flat, round and square stock. Both sets will be built to suit the needs of the respective smith taking the class. This one day class has a heavy emphasis on forging and although no prior experience is necessary, it will help in ensuring the tongs are completed. The goal of the class is to have the students leave with a functional sets of tongs and the knowledge and skill set to build more once they have returned to their home shop. This class is designed for 1-2 students (Pricing is per student)
